I am very sorry to hear all this HOWEVER, I do strongly believe there is a solution. I have had quite a few of my friends battle life in general: depression, poverty, obesity, different illnesses etc. I have seen many pull through and get out of the rut they were in and are now living beautiful lives! It is hard to dig out of such a big hole but taking it day by day and step by step and following the right path YOU can get out of it! The first step to all this is FAITH. You have to believe that you can do it. If you don’t believe that you can, then there no point in trying right? Well I know that you can because I have seen many people pull through in horrible times of depression, and sickness and so on. I will strongly disagree with your mother who says you are going nowhere. I have also been told that many times before and if I had let that effect me I would not be where I am today. Do NOT let anyone tell you that you cant. Oprah was told that she cant, Bill Gates was told that he cant, Steve Jobs was told he cant and guess what? They didn’t listen to it and see where they are! So.. 1. Have faith that you will get out of this. 2. Do NOT listen to anyone who tells you that you can’t.
So today is your day to start! It’s not gonna be easy but you will make it and here are some steps. 1. Don’t turn to food for comfort. Replace what you are eating with something healthier and also eat appropriate amounts (try eating less portions that you are now). You can still eat, just do it in moderation. 2. Start to excercise. If you cannot afford a gym membership no problem; get some running shoes and start by speed walking everyday. The following week start doing a light jog (you will build stamina). Its baby steps but DO NOT give up! You will start seeing results and once you do you will me motivated to keep going. One of my old closest friends took my advice on diet and exercise and lost 80 pounds! 3. Love yourself. As far as not having friends; If you don’t love and appreciate yourself then how do you expect anyone else to? You are the only you and thats a gift in itself! Even if you don’t feel like it, start smiling! Try smiling at the things that you do have. You mentioned that you walk with your mother so I assume you have legs? Appreciate that and use them! Some people unfortunately don’t even get to walk if they wanted to. Its never too late to turn your life around ESPECIALLY at your young age. If you decide to make a change now and stick with it you will be a completely different person by 21. Starting a whole new life! As far as health, if you cannot afford a doctor right away, go pick up some vitamins. If you take them everyday it will build your immune system and could potentially get you better at least until you can see a doctor. Get some vitamin c, multi vitamin, and some sort of echinacea. Start with your health and weight and you will start to see everything else fall into place and get better. You are young and the sun is still shining! There is a great life out there and I know you can go get it! I believe in you :)
